fx 8350 4.0ghz temps

I've recently upgraded to the fx 8350 eight core cpu, and after getting a new cpu cooler etc. my temps seem to idle at 36-40ish load is 45-50ish. All I want to know is what is the normal temp. range, I have read a ton of article's but just wonder why it seems to run on the hot side. Any help will be much appreciated.

the FX series will throttle down when you hit between 60-65c. anything below this is good for temps. If your hitting 50ish you are doing very well for temps.

I would call that the cool side, well into the 50's or even high 50's is common under load

hmmm earlier after I put the new psu in I was idling at 29-31ish anyway to get back down to that? I have all the right bio's options set. Also so in the 50's is normal I thought so, but wasn't for sure.
