Issue with my motherboards USB ports?

So I bought this Razer mouse (Deathadder 2013) and had no problems with it for about a week. The other day I noticed it was shutting off randomly so I figured it was the drivers or whatever, Updated that but it didn't fix anything. So I tried rebooting, Didn't fix anything. It says USB 2.0-USB 3.0 to use. I have it plugged into a 3.0 slot on my motherboard and my desktop booted up. It's off right now but in Device Manager it's installed under Razer Gaming Device but pops up as Unknown Device. I've tried updating my USB 3.0, Shutting down with it unplugged then booting with it plugged in, Everything and still no fix. The odd part is it will work with my laptop no problem at all turns on and everything but if I try and use it on my desktop it just bricks pretty much, Anyone mind helping a fellow gamer/computer geek out? Thanks!
P.S. my motherboard is GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3 AMD 970/SB950

Might have to update the bios on your motherboard. I had an ASRock 970 board that would have to install my Deathadder every time the thing booted up with it plugged into the USB 3.0 port. If you have an empty usb 2.0 port, use that, usb 3.0 port wont make the mouse any better as it can not use usb 3.0. Its only wired to use usb 2.0.

Don't even anyone makes a usb 3.0 mouse/keyboard yet.
