Check your system temperatures, that may cause why your pc shuts down on heavy tasks. About the CPU and RAM load, if it's not a worm or a virus, it could be system updates. Windows update on going, Antivirus update, or any software updates. It might also be windows maintenance running or an active antivirus system scan.

40 degrees, seems fine to me? Nothing's updating. It's been happening for weeks now.

40 degrees seems ok. Try doing a full system scan with your antivirus. Make sure it's updated.

You have Movies Toolbar installed? uninstall it

It is part of the SafetyNut Movies Toolbar from SafetyNut Inc. I suggest that you uninstall, It is marked as Safe, but most of us techies run from any toolbar that Microsoft did not make; Microsoft did not make this one, so run!! you should be able to uninstall it in Programs and Features.
