Hello,

I'm looking to put a new SSD hard drive into my MacBook Pro model no. A1286, but I am no sure which hard drive caddy tray fits my MacBook. Could someone help?

This is the SSD I've got. http://www.kingston.com/us/ssd/v#sv300s3

PS. since I am from Europe, Denmark, I cannot order from Amazon.com.

Thank you in advance

Hello, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support and would like to offer our assistance. If you have the Macbook Pro 15-inch Early 2011, Mid 2010, or Mid 2009 model than they all have a 2.5inch 9.5mm drive bay. The V300 SSD is a 2.5inch 7mm drive and comes with a foam adapter that can be stuck on to add the extra 2.5mm needed to snuggly fit in the bay. If this is not the case or the A1286 is a different model than I found, you can contact our support in your area to clarify which product you have and find the best solution. Please call us at 701 00112 (Denmark only) and an available Technician will assist you. Please be sure to have the part in question on hand when you call.

Thank you for selecting Kingston as your upgrade partner.

Hello Jewel,

Thank you for your answer, I forgot to specify - it's a 13" MacBook Pro medio 2012.

I'll contact the Danish support if I need further assistance.
