Motherboard and RAM compatibility

I have the Asus Z87 sabertooth motherboard and for my RAM I have Patriot Viper PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3. It's the PV34G160C0RD, I looked in my motherboard manual to see RAM compatibility for Patriot RAM and I could not find it. Guessing it isn't compatible but can anyone tell me if it could work? Thanks in advance for the help.

most of the time the memory compatibility lists aren't kept updated so it could work, yes. just be sure the ram is 1.5V and you should have no problems whatsoever.
