I have a Pavilion dv6 Notebook and a Geforce GT 630m 2gb graphics.
I have been trying to install the graphics driver many times but for some reason my laptop does not recognize my graphics card, could it be that my graphics card is burnt from overheat or broken ?

there is nothing shown in the device manager other than the intel HD graphics 3000.

when i click on the nvidia control panel, it shows me an error "An nvidia graphics card was not detected in ur system"

What am i supposed to do ?

Hmm. So you have been in the actual Nvidia site and downloaded the newest 332.21 driver for your GPU?
Is it a new laptop you just got? Or is it something you've had for some time, and the problem just occured?

I just have the same problem. Nothing appears on device manager.
I have two graphic cards, but only one is showing in the "Device Manager", the Intel HD Family Graphics, not the Nvidia GeForce 630M. Help ?
