Hi I bought a GTX 770 to replace my GT 610 when I put the GTX 770 in its comes on the bio screen and wont let me type on my keyboard, the only buttons that work on the keyboard are the caps/num locks and after a while it goes on to a black screen where a curser is flashing in the top left corner. When I put my old card back in everything works fine.
My mother board is H61MA-D2V and my power supply is OCZ ZS series 750w.
Can someone please help me!!
Thanks.

To update your bios you need to download the files from your motherboards website then extract the files onto a USB device. Then put the USB into your pc on boot up and enter the bios. Look around in the bios until you find Bios Update/Q-Flash enter that then select the USB device and then install the files that way.

Your graphics card is not too powerful for your PC, I have a GTX 770 and I use a 730w PSU and It only uses like 450w. Your PSU also runs +12V Rail on upto 54 amps the card will only use 30 amps max so that's not the problem either.

Does your PSU have a 6 pin and a 8 pin PCIE power connection from the power supply ?
It can also be a 6pin connection and a 6+2pin connection, It may be on one cable or two cable from your psu but make sure it's all plugged into your GPU if you have them PCIE cables.

One more thing you could try is changing the slot the graphics card is in on your motherboard try every slot that it will go into until you can get it to work. If you have no luck try updating the bios with the USB thing I told you about before.

Good luck!

The ethernet might to stopping installing for some reason. Try taking it out, if it doesn't work then make out the motherboard battery for 20mins and then put it back in again and try that. That's all I've got!
