Admin issue updates not working

Hey Guys,

Built my pc yesterday and it was fine until I saw I had a chipset driver update from intel that needed doing.

So I started downloading the update but it wouldn't finish the update because I don't have admin privileges. So I checked my profile and it says admin so I'm confused as to why it's not working.

It's the only thing I've had an issue with besides BF4 being laggy but I'm not sure if that's because it's a complete new build and it's not quite ready for gaming just yet.

Best solution

try downloading the intel chipset update from there web page it should install without any issues if it the real download.
if your using a 3 party driver updater tool it might be a fake one. the two places for driver would be the mb vendor web page and intel. if there an issue with windows and the installer right click on it and click install as admin. some software installers are like that in windows.

It comes up on the little flag on the task bar in the right hand corner. I'll try it from the intel page and see what happens.

Turned my pc on today and it was fine. Not sure why it had that problem the first time.

Thanks for the advice.
