Which O/S Should I use

Hi everybody, I hope you are all well and having a lovely start to the new year!

I am currently using windows 7 64 Bit which is fine but I used Windows 8.1 before which I really liked, boot was mega fast!

Specs:

120GB SSD
2TB HDD
16GB Ram
i7 4775k 3.5ghz
Asus Nvidia GTX 760

I feel that my computer is running slower than it should be (slower boot time, delay is applications opening, mouse movement lag) and this is ever since I switched to windows 7 (32 bit then upgraded to 64bit)

Any information would be mega helpful!

I have windows 7 and my pc specs are i7 4770, 16gb ram, gtx 760 and my windows is perfect. Yes the windows 8 does have better boot times but when it comes to gaming, it does give a little bit here and there problems. I think you should stay with windows 7
