Question about SSDs

A little while ago I got my first SSD, a Samsung 840 Pro 256GB. Having finally looked into more information surrounding SSDs, I've read that people recommend leaving a minimum of about 30% space free at all times so as to maintain SSD performance. Is this true? If so, I'm bringing this up because of Over Provisioning, to improve the SSD's lifespan. I just wanted to ask, would it be prudent to set the OP to being 30% of my SSD capacity to make things easier?

Just wanted to know, seeing as it'd be much easier to set OP to use that space, so I don't have to check that I haven't gone below the 30% threshold (Or whatever it is people would recommend) as well as keeping the benefits of OP.

Solution
i'm saying you should still keep a bit of space not used anyway for windows (so keep another 10-20gb free all the time). the default 10% op is plenty

Right now I have OP at 10%. Are you saying I should just not worry about filliing up the 90% capacity I have available to me in terms of maintaining my SSD performance?
