  1. No, it means that the PSU is not even 80+ certified. Its a must 'not buy'. It means the efficiency of that PSU is not equal or above 80%.
  2. Yes that is not a 80 plus certified PSU, and not a trusted unit. Try HX or TX series of Corsair. Or go with XFX, Seasonic or Antec.
  3. is that mean good or not bro ???

bc I want to build a gaming CPU by that PSU
  4. It might not be listed on their site yet. According to the hardwaresecrets review it should pass just fine.

    Newegg shows it as 80+.

Not sure what the deal is, but according to that review it should be fine to use.
  5. @4745 you are wrong bro, we are discussing about Corsair VS 450w Series not VX 450w Series as you were said :)
  6. Oops, I typed VS450 in my search. Hate it when that happens...

  8. Yeah, the VS series are not officially rated on the 80 Plus scale, but it's still not a bad PSU. Honestly I'd probably go with a CX modular if you're looking for something sub $100. You get an 80 Plus Gold rated PSU that'll look good in any case because it's modular.
  9. I have a question, does Pure or non Pure PSU affect with the CPU performance ?

    specially in gaming
  10. Pure?
  11. ^I think OP meant clean current.

@ OP, if the PSU fails to provide clean current it will damage the components. And cheap/crap PSU's inflate the wattage then they actually provides, so eventually they will fail on load. Worst case scenario the PSU can/will take out other components with it too.
