Hello guy's, i'm new on this website/Forum.

First of all i want to say that my English isn't that good. Thank you for understanding and take the time to read this and hopefully one of you can help me decide.

So my question is; what will be my next CPU?
I have a short story to tell first so you will understand it more. I want to almost full upgrade my computer that i bought almost a year ago.
The following specs are:

OCZ ModXstream Pro 700watt
Corsair Vengeance 2x 8GB 1600Mhz
AMD FX 6100, OC @ 4ghz
Asus M5A97
MSI R7790 1GB/OC

Now you must understand that i bought a Evga GTX 770 SC ACX already and i want to stick with this card. Now i have tested my system on different games. some games play's at 60FPS most at ultra and a few on high, i play at 1920X1080p though.

I've read a lot of information about the FX6100 CPU and the conclusion is that this CPU isn't a very well gaming CPU.
Although i can play many games at ultra settings i'm almost sure that the CPU definitely is bottleneck the GPU.

Since that i have a AMD mobo and not have the money to upgrade it i will almost for sure stack on AMD. I have read that the FX 8350 is a good CPU. I wish i could have a 9x series but my mobo only supports CPU till 140 watt and the 9 series is around 220 as i known.

I have a second option but then my upgrade will be little different because i wanted to buy a SSD but that is not my first priority so instead of buying a SSD i could buy a new mobo which does support 9 series OR i buy a mobo that supported an Intel CPU.

I really hope that one of you can help me decide about what i should do or not. I want to stick to the 770 GPU anything else can be changed if need. I want this computer to run games for the upcoming 2-3 years. At least 2 years on ultra or such without having any problem.
Once again thank you very much for helping me and we'll see how it goes.

Cheers,

Daav

I guess it depends on what is available in your country.

A 95w FX-8300 would be an excellent upgrade when you are ready (if one is available) or, we might see a new stepping Piledriver sometime this year.

Otherwise, an FX8320/50 upgrade should work just dandy.
