KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, and SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION all in 1 day

Hey guys at Tom's Hardware,

So, yeah. I got all those BSODs in the course of 4 hours or so. I think my hard drive's going gunnybag, but my HP ENVY dv4t-5200 doesn't have any product key stickers. I would ask at the HP forums, but it seems like no one is there (lol) I really need help, but not really soon because I can live with it and am getting a gaming PC soon.

Thanks,
Jack

  1. If you post your mini dump I can look at in a debugger and see if I can figure out the cause

  3. K, I'll try uninstalling Norton. I already have Malwarebytes and I can download Avast! or something.

better to run with microsoft security essentials and single scan with malwarebytes until you figure out the cause.
(WHY: if microsoft screws up the AV scan, they get 100 of thousands for automatic error reports the next day, they fix it fast and put out the fix in the windows update. if your machine reports a bug to Microsoft and it is in Norton's code, microsoft will report it to norton and norton will push out the fix only to their paying customers)
  5. 'Aight. I have a swim meet today and uninstalled Norton. I'll see what it does. In the meantime, I have picked it as the solution.
