Hi I have a H61MA-D2V - BIOS Date: 02/10/12 17:54:32 Ver: 04.06.05 and I need to update it because I think it is the problem why it wont let me use my new graphics card and freezes on the screen. When I go on the my motherboards website I extract the file on to my USB device and when I go to q-flash and try to update with it, it says they is a more recent one.

Mine at the moment is a F2 version and I am trying to update it to the F6 version. Can someone please tell me what the problem is.
Thank you

Clear your CMOS and restart your computer. If you still have the same issues, uninstall your current graphics drivers with Driver Sweeper and restart. After the second restart, download your most updated graphics driver and install. After the install, reboot and see if this resolved the issue.

Oh man...this sounds like it would be rough.

Follow this step to uninstall your graphics driver:
http://www.wikihow.com/Uninstall-Graphics-Drivers

Here is your user manual for your motherboard. Look for anything that says "Clear CMOS":
http://mediapool.xpressplatforms.com/product-files/pdf/779175-34477.pdf

Here is a link to Driver Sweeper:
http://www.guru3d.com/content_page/guru3d_driver_sweeper.html

Try finding out how to clear your CMOS first, and if you can't find that out, look at how to uninstall drivers and use Driver Sweeper.

I'm saying do all of this because I don't think your bios version would affect your new graphics card like that. It sounds like a problem with the graphics card itself, or an issue with the setup of your CMOS/BIOS.
