Hey guys, nobody here has steered me wrong in the past so I'm looking to you all once more for some advice.

I have $400 to spend on improving my setup, but I really have no idea what would help me out the most? I'll throw down my specs, and you guys can take it from there!

MoBo: ASRock Extreme4 Z77
CPU: Intel i7 3770k (OC Safely to 4.5GHz)
RAM: 12GB
PSU: Thermaltake 850W
GPU: EVGA GeForce 660
Heatsink: Coolermaster EVO 212
Case: Coolermaster HAF 912
Internal Hard Drive: 1TB (Not SSD)

I can't think of anything else, so I hope I'm not missing anything obvious!

Anyway, Like I said, I have $400 saved up to give my system a revamp, but I'm really not sure what I should spend it on to give me the biggest boost, what are your suggestions?

Solution
NEither a GPU or SSD will really help with video editing/ photo editing. The SSD might be a small help but not really. The GPU will help with gaming drastically and max any current game out there.

I would still replace the PSU definitely.

Maybe throw in a link? I'd appreciate it man.

And the PSU has never let me down in the past, looks great, never had any faults, so maybe I just wn the lottery haha.

I should've added, I game a LOT on my system, but what I do even more, is Video Editing and Photo Editing, I'm guessing the GPU will alo be of a bigger benefit than the SSD would be?

Thanks mate!

TBH, you do not really need to replace anything or upgrade anything at that. Maybe a simple upgrade like an SSD to help with boot time. Save that money and build a new rig in 2 or 3 years.

Also if you want extra performance, even adding a 2nd 660 is a good choice.
