Which GPU is better?

honestly in terms of performance they are identacle and unless looking at a graph, you will never see the difference (might only see one or two frame difference). The silicon lottery (chances of getting a better performing card) is higher than quality difference between the two cards. Both coolers are good as well, with the msi gaming actually being a little worse (by literally only a degree or two) in cooling, but being ever so slightly quieter than the evga acx.

In a blind test you will not be able to tell the difference between the two cards, and so should go for whichever option is either more readily available, or cheaper. Both will have the same nvidia game bundle at this point in time in most areas (using north america as my...

They are both the same card... just different manufacturers :-/ You'll get the same performance from either one. I'd get the EVGA though because I have had good experience with their customer service, and the ACX coolers do a great job cooling their GPUs.

the 2500k is still one of the best gaming CPUs out there, even though it is a couple gens older now. It would run fine with top GPUs, it will be fine with a 760, or a couple of them for that matter.

I have an i5 2500k too, and use it with a DCUii GTX 770 without bottlenecks, so a 760 should be fine as well. Out of these two I prefer the MSI TwinForce cooling force cooling system better, in my experience it's about as efficient and even quieter. The out-of-box overclock won't make much of a difference in performance, and if you need more power, you can just overclock it later on.

Awesome wow guys thank you so much for advice. Also, i have a corsair TX750 PSU. I am planning on buyin the seasonic 750w modular PSU unless anyone here knows a better modular supply for 750w :p. Unless you guys think i should just get a 650w?

Specs for my computer as follows:
CPU: Intel i5-2500k sandy bridge unlocked (currently overclocking 3 settings 3.3, 3.8, and 4.4)
Motherboard: Asrock z68 extreme3 gen3
PSU: Corsair TX750
GPU: Geforce GTX 550 Ti
Cooler: Cooler master hyper plus 212 (heat sink attached with two 120mm Gentle typhoon & push pull configuration))
HDD: 1TB Western Digital
SSD: 120 GB samsung
RAM: G. Skill 8GB (2x 4GB) 240 pin
Fans: 2x 140mm, 4x 120mm (2 of them enermax vegas trio LED),

via reviews, your corsair tx psu is fine, and is actually a better quality psu than the seasonic one (unless it's their silver rated one which is pretty good). Personally i would advise sticking with corsair, or not upgrading your psu, because you really are just getting the same or worse quality psu.

depending on your budget, the corsair tx m model is great, or you can get much better models of corsair. Look up a review for the specific seasonic one you are looking at just to make sure it isn't a psu with a poor review score

Ah i see i forgot to say the PSU im trying to buy is Gold standard PSU as shown below. Both are Seasonic. I looked at the reviews and alot of people said its a good trust worthy PSU. I just dont know if i should get the 750w or 650 or less? I looked into the corsair PSU and stuff but alot of people say Seasonic makes corsair PSU so i was just kinda confused. But you seem like you know 100000x more than me haha.

Well its been like 4 years and ive always been facinated by modular PSU but never got it. Also, im tired of having so many unsed wires in my case disrupting airflow.

Isn't the tx smi modular? i know my 850tx is semi modular (basically has bare minimum attatched)

But ANYWAYS, the seasonic you are looking at is great, though if you are only planning on using one gpu at a time, you will actually get better performance from a smaller psu (as you will be closer to the psu's target operating range for maximum efficiency). Though i'm not a fan of anything less than 500 watt for gaming, if you have the budget, stick to the one you are looking at, as you may only save like $10-20 by buying a lower rated power supply

I see thanks so much. I was also looking at this PSU EVGA 650w ($89 at newegg) ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438005since my price for seasonic 650w ) since seasonic is kinda too high for my budget ($139 at newegg). Let me know what you think? i looked at the reviews and online but i just dont wanna get a PSU that wil crap out lol but not too expensive too.
