Need help with first gaming pc build (£800 budget)

I've been on consoles for years now but I'm looking to get into pc gaming soon. However I'm not sure exactly what components to get. I need to sell a few things first but once I have I will have a budget of £750 - £850.

I know that prebuilt pc's are more expensive so I'm going to put it together myself. I know a little about building a pc but I'm slightly worried about doing it by myself.

Ideally I want a machine that will be able to run the latest games on high settings.

Also I need a monitor and a mouse, and I'm willing to go a little over budget to get these too so any recommendations here would be helpful.

Any ideas and advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks :)

Assuming you need an OS, here's one with a monitor and mouse. The 270x will be able to power most current games with maxed out settings at 1080p, and all of the at least of High settings.
