Hi all,
The GTX 480 is the first 'proper' GPU I've ever had and was recently given to me as a hand-me-down. I know it's a notoriously hot card but I'm been obsessing over monitoring temps.
When I first turn the PC on the card tends to rise up to around 60 degrees then drops and idles are around 40.
I can play Skyrim on max settings and it seems to hover around the 70-80 mark, occassionaly rising to 90ish.
As the card's official top temperature is 105 can I safely turn off the monitors now and stop panicking?
Thanks
