ive never really upgraded my pc and i bought it from a site so when it comes to pc hardware im a complete idiot. But i want to be able to do things for myself and i want an SSD. and i dont know two things 1.will my Asus M5A87GLM motherboard support a hard drive and an ssd at the same time? and 2. if not do i need a disc with my motherbaord drivers?

Remember to set your sata to AHCI in your motherboard bios before you install Windows. Also make sure that only the SSD is plugged into the motherboard when you install Windows. Windows likes to store files needed for boot on other hard drives if they are connected. Then if you have to remove the HDD, the SSD won't boot. lol. I went through this and had to install Windows twice in one week because of it. lol.
