windows 8.1 how do I set Gmail as default email program? I have installed a new Brother laser printer and after scanning a document it gives me the option to email it directly. After clicking on Email, it reports that there is no default email program set up in my computer. In Firefox I have set up Gmail as my default and whenever I click on an email address, it opens my Gmail account just fine. Windows Default Program page does not give a Gmail option.

I have this same issue, also with a Brother laser printer. I get the same error message that there is no default email program, even though I have set Chrome as my default "mail" program.
