Power supply not working when I plug fans in. Tags: Power Supplies Systems Last response: January 9, 2014 11:42 AM in Systems Share XdbodzX January 9, 2014 11:13:08 AM I decided to turn on my power supply to plug in some fans, just to see if it would work. The fans did not spin. Products used below: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009JCGIF6/ref=oh_de... - Connector http://www.corsair.com/builder-series-cx600.html - psu http://www.corsair.com/en/cpu-cooling-kits/air-series-f... - fans I'm using. I'm also using the 2 fans that come with the case. If I turn on the psu, and only have the 4 pin peripheral connectors plugged in (no ATX connector or anything else), should the fans work? Or is it dependent on having the other stuff plugged in too? I should mention that I did turn on the psu using the back switch, and the fans are 12v.
