Hi, im having a problem with my wifi on my new PC, I first installed a realtek wifi card which would not connect to wifi at all, it found the connection but would not connect,

I then tried a second wifi card, same story

so finmnaly i tried a usb wireless adapter and this allowed me to connect but the connect is shockingly slow and randomly disconnects, the internet is fine on my other computer, laptop etc.

I would think that your computer is tucked down in a small enclosed space so that the antenna cannot work well. Since you are now using USB you can get a 15 foot USB extension cable and use it to move the adapter to a better location so that you can get a signal.

How far are you from the router and what type of construction materials?

You see i originally had my old computer in this exact same spot, and it always had perfect speeds, no issues, the only thing thats changed is the new computer & the wifi has slowed to a trickle, the router is in the next room and my laptop gets full signal from the exact same place so im at a loss really.
