XFX HD-567X-YNF3 Radeon HD 5670 512MB 128-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 - $100 Ballpark

Hey all - I want to upgrade - I got this card back in 2010 so im sure it can be upgraded.

few things

this mobo - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128451

this card exactly - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150504

Want to stay around the $100 ballpark - I know this is small, but from looking at the 'best cards' articles etc, I'm sure I can upgrade a 3yr old card for this price. Especially considering im not hardcore gamer, but I know I can get better performance.

Running a amd quad core 3.2ghz BE

600watt ps

Thanks in advance!!

    HD7790 in the ballpark http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvr779oc1gd
Will work in your board and PSU is big enough.

before I purchase --- pci-e 3 is backwards compat? - meaning, my board only shows 2.0
  5. Basicall you want to go with a 7750, 7770, 7790 depending if you can catch a sale. I would say you should able to find a 7770 for about $100 however if you for whatever go with a 7750 just make sure it has GDDR5 normally you can tell off the bat because most DDR3 7750 come with 2 gigs of ram which is a total waste.
  6. Your fine the cards will work in 2.0 slot.
