okay so my monitor has VGA connection. I am using a VGA to DVI-I converter currently.

when i play games i get fuzzy picture. i can still play the game there are no lags but the picture is not as crisp as i want it to be. and it only happens when i play games.

should i get a VGA to HDMI converter? would that help at all or should i get a different converter? i also use my monitor for my speakers because they are built in.

my GPU is a gtx 650 ti boost. and my monitor is a view sonic.

Getting a converter isn't gonna do anything cause it's still VGA is what you are using. Have you played with the settings in your monitor? Also adjust your game settings as well. It's probably just the monitor itself. Guy that I knew had a older monitor that always had a dull look to it when he played games and it was due to the monitor itself.

Are you running your computer at the same resolution of the screen?

The adapter could be bad if it's a bad picture. VGA isn't as good as DVI, but shouldn't be fuzzy. How long have you had it like this, and has it always been like that?

I don't like telling people to do something with 100% certainty because if it's wrong it's my fault lol

But, that said, it sure does sound like a bad cable or adapter. But before doing that, have you tried the factory reset in the monitor setting, and try messing with sharpness, H size, V size, etc (I don't know what all settings your monitor has lol)
