I believe my sound card is causing a BSOD. I own a HT Omega Claro II and anytime I have it installed I will get BSOD and it just pretty much happens whenever it want's. As soon as i remove the card the problem is gone. At first I thought it was my motherboard when i had a AsRock 990fx Extreme4 with a AMD FX-6350 CPU, but I just switched over to a Gigabyte G1.Sniper z87 with a I7 4770k and I still get the exact same problem.

Now I read that the old Claro had problems with the Nivida motherboard chipsets and caused this. So I'm wondering if my Graphics Cards might be the cause of this from the Audio Drives that get installed with them. Since I don't ever seem to have the problem till i install my Nvidia drivers now that I think of it.

Any suggestions? Specs below.

I7 4770k
Gigabyte G.1 Sniper Z87
16Gb (4 x 4GB) of G.Skill Sniper @ 1866
2x Zotac GTX 670s 4GB in SLI
ADATA 512GB SSD
Segate 750GB HDD
Cooler Master V850 PSU

This motherboard is suppose to have amazing sound because it uses a quad core chip but I'm getting horrible static from it lol. And there is no other way to place the cards around. back on my AMD build I didn't have this problem at first but then when I got my SSD I started experiencing this. Could the SSD be a factor? First time I got the card was when I had some el cheapo motherboard from a old Emachines desktop with a gtx 580 on it. Never had the problem then. Got the AsRock 990fx and AMD Fx-6350 and I was still doing good. Got the 670s and new psu and I believe I was still doing good. then got the ssd and i think thats when it all started and I've already sent the card out to be replaced once.

Well I used a custom modified version of the drivers for my sound card. I unistalled all other audio drivers including the onboard. I removed all nvidia drivers and did a clean install without the audio drivers. Lets see where this takes me lol. Also my sound card will make a odd clicking noise sometimes like during startup. =P
