Hi, just wondering if anybody can help me, I'm building my first PC and decided to go for water cooling on the CPU. The system I've gone for is Phodya pure performance kit, the radiator that comes with the kit is the G-Changer 120 v.2. The problem I'm having is whether or not the blue plastic plugs that block the unused inlet/outlet, are up to the job of containing the liquid. Has anyone had any problem leaving these in, as mine is directly above the motherboard and a little worried.

Thanks

Unscrew one of them and check to see if they have a rubber o-ring on them.

If they do, they should seal the water out just fine. If they don't, it's worth investing in caps for sure, because they will leak sooner or later.

(Congrats on going real water cooling, by the way, and welcome to the club of modding enthusiast crazies. ;)  )

Thanks Darksable, appreciate you replying ( wasn't sure how to reply to you properly, so hoping this is the right way ) I've checked and they're not even screwed plugs, so yeah it's probably best to invest in some screw caps.

Again thanks, it's good to be here, as I'm a complete novice and could do with some backup when needed. :)

This is a perfectly acceptable way to reply to me, no worries. :)

I'm surprised that they're even there at all, though - it seems like that's just begging someone to do what you did but not check and presume everything is fine until water starts leaking out everywhere.

I'm glad I can help - if you like, you can either keep replying in this thread, or send me a PM through the little red mail icon below my picture.

Hi Darksable

yeah me too, the kit came with instructions for the waterblock only, the rest I had to do a little research on the web, No harm done. 2 of my mates and I managed to finish the build on Saturday ( with lots of reading manuals and watching Youtube videos ) and I'm pleased to say she's running like a dream :)

So thanks again for your support, much appreciated :)
