HDD is on ultra dma 2 mode?

Since my sata drive died,I'm using older 80 GB ATA drive.But it can work only in ultra dma 2 mode(33mb/s) which is really slow.The motherboard and hdd can go up to 100 mb/s.
I changed few cables,tried options in bios.Also unistalled ata channel in device manager ,then restart to see will he recognize him now.But no success.Any options,suggestions?

I read about it,but don't see difference on my cables (four of them).This is temporary,but seems I need to buy new one for now.
