Hello everyone I am 15 years old and im thinking of building my own computer this year. I have never done anything at all to do with this kind of stuff (i havent even opened a computer up). I want to do it because of the fun of making it and the reward at the end. I have been living on my families iMac my whole life and im kind of sick of it! I hope to use my pc to play games but not too high quality games. I have done a small amount of research but not much. I dont care how big my pc is or how noisy it is. I am hoping to try and build it for under $500. Im am from australia so if anyone could recommend parts, places to buy them from or just some advice please do and will really appretiate it.

I know australia has a ridiculous markup on video games, dunno about the PC parts though.
