Just got this in the mail today: http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=11830BD8252&vpn=GV-R779OC-2GD&manufacture=GIGABYTE

First of all, considering the last card I installed was an 8600GT, this thing is freakin' huge!!! :D

I just want to make sure I do it right. I assume after I plug it into the mobo, that I plug in the 4-pin plug from my PSU labelled "PCI-E", correct? Also, there's a small connection of some sort with a plastic cap on it, what might that be, what does it do, and do I need to connect it? :)

Correct. The small plastic piece is for if you're running 2 cards. You can take it off just incase for some odd reason it melts. lol

I have another question. I have the card in and working, but it's pretty heavy, and droops when I stand the case up. Is that normal, or should I be doing something to support the front corner opposiite the mobo.

I REALLY don't want to mess anything up :D

Not sure what you're saying. You have the card in? It should have clicked when it's fully in the slot all the way and then you screwed it in? It should be flat all the way down.

It's clicked in, and the card is flat, but when I stand the case up, that one corner is 1/4" further from the bottom of the bay I used as a reference point. (ie. the card is twisting) and my concern is that it's putting stress on the mobo connection.
