I am having a lot of trouble with my old Samsugn HD040GJ. I would really like to use it in my computer. I currently am running an IDE HDD that freezes every hour or so of use. I need to transfer files before it completely dies. Can someone direct me to a BIOS update for a Gateway 505GR that would allow me to have BIOS recognize the HDD right off? Thanks.

I am trying to install the Samsung HD040GJ. It isn't recognized by BIOS in any of my computers. I don't have the
floppy for it since it was from a different, older computer. I also can't find the drivers from Samsung either. So making a Windows boot disk to install the drivers is nLite is not possible to my knowledge. Thanks for the help.
