Hi,

I am having trouble overclocking with my bios.

The motherboard I have is the

GIGABYTE GA-F2A88XM-HD3 FM2+ / FM2 AMD A88X (Bolton D4) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

and the cpu is

AMD Athlon X4 750K Trinity 3.4GHz Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core Desktop Processor - Black Edition

Now for some reason my bios doesn't let me adjust the multiplier as well as any other values needing for an overclock. Why are they locked? What is a workaround?

Can you click on the arrow to expand the CPU Clock Ratio category and then take a pic of the options... then post it here? All I can do from here is download the manual and see that section as it looks unexpanded. So I don't know what the available options look like.

I don't think it's "locked". It should at least open and the values maybe be greyed out if it were locked. The fact that clicking on "auto" does nothing at all would make me thing the BIOS is not working correctly. Does it open if you use the keyboard instead of the mouse?
If it were mine, I'd try re-flashing the BIOS (to the latest version).

I figured it out. I sent an email to gigabyte. Apparently, I change the values with the page up/down key. This was not in the manual. Thank you for your help clutchc. I appreciate it.
