How do i remove "Insert Disc" notification on start up?

A new hard drive was installed using SwissKnife. Windows Components Wizard was activated but not used. I now get "Please insert the Compact Disc labeled Windows XP into your CD-Rom... " on start up, which also slows start time down.

How can i remove the notification please? :??:

Thanks for your reply. The disc its asking me to insert is Windows XP Professional CD-ROM. No i dont have it. But if i did, or a download, how does this help? Cos the new hard drive is already installed.

Is there no way to turn off the notification?

Thanks

Yeah... don't know how the idea popped into my head... guess I confused the Windows Component Wizard with SFC /Scannow... but the idea was to insert the Windows XP CD or at least the SP3 CD to supply the wizard with the Windows files to complete the cycle it seems to be stuck on... but it may be better disabled in the Control Panel / Add Windows Components... this time uncheck whatever you checked before or uncheck everything to reprogram the Wizard with zero installations pending, so it turns off.

OK, just go to Start button / Control Panel / click on Add/Remove Windows Components, and on the small box that opens, uncheck everything and click Next... it may ask for the Windows XP CD, so this may work or not... See the image to better understand my instructions. If it doesn't work, you'll have to disable the Windows Components Wizard as instructed in the tweaklibrary article.
