Hello,

I just purchased these 2 components:

f2a88x-d3h MOBO rev 3
asus hd7770-2gd5

for the last day i have tred everything to make this setup work but it keeps bluescreening me as soon as a little load is put on the card. i already replaced the card with amazon and the new one i got does the exact same. so i highly doubt is a hardware related issue and more of a software related one., has anyone got any intel on this particular setup working fine for games? what else information can i provide to be able to troubleshoot this. thanks a lot

Mtherboard Bios is F3
Os: win 7 ult sp1
processor: amd athlon quad @3.8 (richland)
ram 8 gb ballistix by crucial (2x4g)

no more updates available. still doesnt work. do you think this is a windows issue rather than a firmware/driver issue?

i think you might need to go into the bios and find the vga and set it to point to the card in whatever way it needs to be done. I'd tell you to reset the cmos................ and give that a try before doing anything. you can find that in your motherboard booklet........along with other stuff..............................................................

ok i did point it to the pcie slot. i even changed the card slot . did a driver wipe and reinstalled everything.
i think the problem is that the gpu fan does not increase its speed when i put the benchmark on it. but it does increase if i manually do it on afterburner. is there any kind of crash log i can compile for you so you better understand the issue at hand?

it was like that before. i only used afterburner to verify the fans were responding to the calls in increase of speed. wich they do. but the card seems unable to manage its own fan speeds or frecuency..
