So I was looking at building a custom pc. I recently built one with a friend and I was pretty much the one to do it, so I know what I am doing as far as installing components. Anyway, I was going to build my own pc, however ANOTHER friend is saying that the CPU and Motherboard I have selected are not built for gaming and that I would be better to go with a Intell I7-4770k cpu and a different motherboard.

He is also saying there is some kind of socket issue?

Also, How do I find out if the processor is good for gaming rather than as a workstation

What do you think? (Note: I see the error that the website is giving...I think I just need to update the bios with a USB before booting the PC.

So I have changed to the i7-4770K, now I'm not sure what to look for in a motherboard. I was thinking about an Asus. Also, do you recommend getting one with built in wifi...or can I get better wifi with different wifi component? Here is the link to the allegedly compatible motherboards. http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/motherboard/#n=4&t=65536,32768&sort=d5
