Looking for advice/ tips on hardware to make a very powerful video editing machine. I use Premiere Pro for all my work. I want an Intel CPU not AMD. I am thinking about an i7 4960X. Thoughts? Also fairly green on motherboards. I want a video card capable of at least 3 preferably 4 screen display.

If there is no budget you should wait for haswell-e. It will bump the extreme CPU's to 8 core/16 threads. By then the new series of GPU's will be out. Expect around fall, it will be quite a bump.
If you need one now a 4930k with up to 3 GTX 780ti's. I am not good at motherboards. :p
