I was going to go with a Gigabyte r9 270x, but is there anything better for the same price or lower? I'm looking to play games such as DayZ and Battlefield 4. I definitenly cannot go higher than $220, though. So if other modifications can be made to lower the cost while maintaining quality, please do so. I am looking to go under $600, as taxes will raise that to $660.
NOTE: I am buying the CPU/mobo at microcenter in a bundle for $170, so the true total (before taxes) is $577.42. For some reason pcpartpicker doesn't add the bundle to my build.

Seasonic just has lower wattage rating, the xfx here is built by seasonic, and I love my unit from them. I also got you 212 evo to squeeze some extra performance from the 6300. As far as psu's go seasonic is about as reputable as they get though.

I honestly dont know how the seasonic performs but I do know that the cx seriers is a great power supply range and is budget friendly too.

And I would suggest you to get a AMD card because of MANTLE. I think use of mantle makes BF4 perform about 40% faster.
Currently what I would consider before going AMD or Nvidia is:

AMD=BF4(Mantle)+affordability(price/performance)
Nvidia=Recording+cooler and quiter operation.

I hope this helps.
