I have a asrock z77 extreme4 with 8gb of Corsair Vengeance 1600 ram but my system says It's only 1333. I can't seem to figure out how to fix this. I just built this machine and this seems to be the first problem I am having. The bios has no option for me to adjust it. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks

Solution
all DDR3 ram runs natively at 1333Mhz. no matter what it says on the box. you have to overclock it to get it up to 1600Mhz... not that you will be able to tell the difference anyway..

most newer motherboards have a feature called XMP (X-treme memory profile) if you enable it in your bios it will automatically crank your ram up to 1600mhz. (i have the same motherboard and it does support xmp)
