Has anyone tried to overclock Sapphire Dual-X R9 280X using trixx?

This is actually my first time trying to OC a graphics card and would like to know what I need to look out for when overclocking.

Also, does anyone know if a NZXT Kraken G10 would work with this card?

Thanks in advance!

Here is my set-up if anyone needs to know:

Intel Core i5 4670k
Asrock Fatal1ty Z87 Killer
2x4GB G.skill Ripjaw 1866 CL9
Acbel 670W 80+
Bitfenix Ronin
Sapphire Dual-X R9 280X

i used amd catalyst to oc. never liked trixx. im afraid to change the voltage. tested a few ( like 10+ runs) thief benchmark on max setting. i only oc'ed the core clock and power control, everything else is at stock value

gets artifacts @ 1100MHz.
just watch out for very high temps (90 celcius is quite high for me, but i never saw this card goes beyond 72 degrees in thief) other game will have varying temps
