I started playing BF4 last night and put the settings to Ultra with 4 x MSAA which was very nice but in busy game times my fps would dip, not below 60 but would drop a bit.

So I turned MSAA off and it seems to be better, a bit more stable. I know AA is to make things look better no sharp edges etc.

My question is are there any other settings I should look at in the video settings? All I did was go from 4 x MSAA to AA off.

I'm still running at Ultra which looks amazing. To be honest I didn't see the point in turning a 770 down.

I'm playing at 1440 x 900 for the moment.

Solution
in your nvidia control pannel go to 3d and on vertical sync change it to adaptive.
if your monitor is 1080 p play at a resolution of 1920 1080.
770 should not have a problem at all.
