the nvidia card is slightly faster but not by much so the radeon could be better value overall.

7790 has 10% higher effective memory clock speed + more than 10% higher memory clock speed
650ti has 15% higher texture rate + 8 more texture mapping units

close call, go with whatever you prefer :)

go with what is cheapest, the difference between them are not "do or die", but if i had to choose i'd pick the AMD, as i've always used AMD myself, yea yea AMD biased :D
