so i built a system this morning (first build), and when i go into the BIOS, the temp of the cpu is slowly rising from 35C all the way past 60C, even if i put the front chassis fan at full speed AND the cpu heatsink at full speed, as far as i can tell the heatsink is installed correctly, any suggestions? thanks :)

are you sure that its attatched correctly? a cooler needs a certain presure for it to cool properly

after a hyper 212 evo does it pass 40C on full load? and ive been told its because the case i got (fractoal core design 1000) only has a intake fan and no exhaust fan

I got 1 intake and 2 exhaust. 1 intake in the front and 1 exhaust in the back and 1 on the top of the case and my temps are pretty good. Its all about getting all the hot air out and heat climbs so ideal location = back and top. Its also good to get some fresh air in so 2 intakes in the front if you can, otherwise 1 is just fine.

i didnt really think no exhaust fan would cause this bad temp rises lol, it supports an 80mm fan on the back, would it be enough possibly?

well if you dont get the hot air out then it will just stay in your case and thats because your cpu cooler and gpu cooler pulls in air.
