Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) PC RAM (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9)

Gskill 4Gb X 1 Ddr3 1600Mhz Cl9 Sniper RAM (F3-12800CL9S-4GBSR)

My motherboard is M5A97 R2.0

Pretty much a personal preference on those. I would go with which ever is cheapest.

I'd suggest a 2x2GB set so you can utilize dual channel (up to 10-15% performance increase over single channel)

A 2x2 set is never a good reccomendation. Because later on if you want to upgrade to more it is so very limited over a 1x4gb stick.

While not my favorite (2x2GB) it's better than a single stick because you can enable and use dual channel which provides a performance increase as mentioned, that particularly good with AMD rigs as they havea weak MC 9Memory controller) anywayway, as far as upgrading - You don't want to mix sets or sticks of DRAM in the first place, it can be problematic, and even moreso on AMD vs Intel due to the weaker MC - it's always best to get a set of the full amount of DRAM you want, and if need be sell the old or use it in another rig

Most ddr3 1x4gb sticks seem to be avalible for a long period of time. I would personally reccomend 2x4gb and just bite the cost.

Agree with the 2x4GB, but if all budget allows for is 4GB total, then 2x2GB is best, performance wise

Agreed, 2x 2GB will give better performance than 1x 4GB. If budget allows go for the 2 piece kit.

That one stick of corsair is 49.99 you can get a 2x4 gb kit that is 1333 you personally wont notice the diffrence in gaming for that price.

<--- I'm probably a bit biased, but I personally think the Vengeance look cooler... and I, too, agree that you should go with less sticks. The memory controller has to do less work the less memory sockets you use.

Snipers are good sticks, and if you do go to add another in the future, prob have better luck with it than the vengeance, though no guarantees

Nope, meant what I said, the Snipers are better sticks, used to use Corsair a lot, but not in the last few years and get very few requests from clients for them, Gskill's been the innovation leader in DRAM the last 3 years or so and the rest are playing catch up

Either of the two will run fine, am saying if you are even considering adding a second stick in the future the better choice is the Sniper

All 650TI s use the same GPU, the Asus uses it's own CU cooling design which makes for great OCing and performance, but either will work well
