Disable turbo boost for 3570k?

I want to overclock my 3570K but when I do, It shows the turbo boost maximum frequency, I want it to run at that frequency all the time (atm) so should i disable turbo boost? Or is there a safe program to max out your cpu for 5 seconds, I'm doing this so I know what I can safely clock it at. I've just got it and the H80, I can't use the auto turbo boost from the bios (P8Z77) because the motherboards faulty.

Yea turbo boost only boosts 2 cores anyway. If you have a corsair iH80 and a decent Z77 mobo you should be able to hit 4.2 easy, and probably 4.4-4.5 with a little tinkering.

Turn turbo off and you should be able to manually adjust clock on all 4 cores to 4.2 easy.

You should read guides though if you are new to overclocking, find out the right way to do things.
