So i want to upgrade my power supply to a 500 watt and i was looking and saw this one and i like the modular, also right now i do have a 7750 with the 305 watt in it(I think its 305) but i want to be on the safe side and get a higher watt can anyone confirm that this will fit into my case?

Solution
yes it will fit, however it will leave a gap around the PSU because of the difference in sizes between the Dell PSU and the standard PSU.

What do you mean?
From what i see the dell psu is an atx spec psu and should be the same size as the corsair psu (i think you mean this one when you say;"standard psu"?).Otherwise would the corsair not fit.

@ BlackmanCuldesac,

Why do you want the corsair?
Are you having problems?
Do you want to upgrade in the future?

The 305watt psu should be enough for the 7750,it doesn't need an extra power connector which the corsair would supply and i think 305watt should be enough for a basic system=motherboard+cpu+hd 7750+hdd+dvd player.

I see, that's different. There is also a cx 430M,which is modulair too and will have enough power for a 7770.It should cost less.If the difference in price isn't that big the 500watt will be a nice choice of course.

When upgrading the gpu also look at the hd 7790,for maybe the same price or just a bit more depending on your budget and which hd 7770 you were looking at.
