I recently purchased a Sapphire Dual-X from amazon for $299 out of impulse since I have $600 in Amazon gift card money. Now that the 290s are being released with aftermarket coolers I don't know if i should return the 280x and get a 290 or just keep the 280x? I game on a 1080p monitor (have 2) and may purchase a 3rd soon. I also plan on heavily modding games like Skyrim and GTA 4. I should mention I video edit and also use photoshop and aftereffects for work, so would the extra VRAM help? My CPU is the i7 4770K and i have 16gb ram. I had a 7950 but sold it to upgrade and have been using a 7790 as a temporary card.
