More about windows stuck preparing automatic repair
  1. Turn off the computer, turn on the computer and hit f8, use the option to enter safe mode. Can you enter safe mode? If so, then clcik on the Orb and type System Restore, and restore back to before the problem.

is there another solution for if you cannot get into safe mode as the keyboard is wireless and doesnt seem to be responding so unable to press f8 or anything else to get into safe mode.
the computer is just stuck on "preparing automatic repairs" screen.

    1) Do NOT steal a thread, your issue is different than the OP, you should make your OWN seperate thread so we can not mix up 'whom' we are providing solutions too (please read the TOS you agreed to to post!!)
    2) use a WIRED keyboard, or if this is a laptop use the built in one.
  5. EDIT: BAH DUP!

Listen FLAMEtard (because that is all your post is is a troll flame then to ANSWER the OP whom ABANDONED this a long while ago so your TWO strikes right there), on BIOS enabled systems (OP didn't state any specifics) F8 DOES work for Windows 8 and 8.1. It does NOT work if UEFI is used, then you need to use the other processes, BUT those won't work (if you even READ the thread) if the OPs keyboard doesn't 'work' either.

  8. For me all I had to do was remove the battery and then put it back in. Turn the pc back on and it worked like it did before.
