i have a asrock z77 pro 3 mobo....and i am getting my gtx780ti next week so i wanted to know if my motherboard hinders the performance of the card.? will i notice a diff if i buy a diff higher end mobo?

Solution
Your motherboard is sufficient to run the 780 ti. Just Use the PCI-E x16, v3.0 slot on your mobo for faster performance.(it should be labelled as PCI-E 3.0 on mobo) You're fine with it. ALL THE VERY BEST!!!

you will notice zero difference with between any of the z77 mobos. if you run SLI you may notice a 0 to~8% difference by getting a super high end board with an sli bridge. a PCIe 3.0 8x link can supply significantly more bandwidth than all but the highest of high end cards can currently use
