Hi guys,
I recently purchaseda Sonicwall tz205 without wlan because I thought that attaching my existing router, a cisco rv120w, would work as an access point. So I attached the Sonicwall WAN to my modem and the cisco rv120w over one of its lan ports to port x0 (lan) on the sonicwall. I can get wireless access to the lan network and to the internet with iphones, ipads, pcs connecting to the cisco router. Now here is the problem: Our wirelessly attached atm machine is not connecting to the internet and one of my coworkers who has a samsung gt-n5110 device cannot connect to the internet. I can surf on our lan using his device but I cannot get onto the internet. I am assuming that our atm is having the same issue...
I am a newbie to sonicwall and am wondering if there is anything I have to change in its settings? I noticed that attaching the cisco rv120w to any other port (not x0) would only give me lan access. Xo is the only port which lets the cisco have both lan and internet access. I have our entire network about 15 pcs connected over port x3 and they are all fine (lan and interet access).
That basically sums it all up. Sorry for the long text, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks again!

I work with sonicwalls all the time, did you setup the network the same as before? did you setup a dhcp server on the sonicwall?

what i would do is set the cisco to bridged mode so you arent double natted and so you dont have two dhcp servers running which will cause issues.

I would say that the atm machine is set statically and is most likely sitting on a different network, I would also suspect that it needs a certain number of ports opened for it to communicate correctly.

also run the 5.8.1.13 update from mysonicwall .com since I would say you registered it?

send me your network scheme

also I would log into the cisco and check that for any port forwarding and match everything thing
