hi I have 2 dell inspiron 1300's networked by wifi. I have a modem dongle on one so that both computers can access the internet. If the pc with the dongle reboots then the other pc can no longer access the internet because the broadcom ethernet controller is selected as the preferred network medium instead of wifi. I tried uninstalling the broadcom ethernet driver but it keeps reinstalling itself as it autodetects its presence. How do I completely remove the broadcom ethernet or get the system to select wifi instead of broadcom ethernet?
