Intel i5-4200m or i7-4500u

I'm planning to buy a laptop for myself, and I'm an architecture student.
So, I'd working a lot in CAD, Photoshop, Autodesk Revit, Flash etc., and would definitely game a lot, and watch movies.

The laptops that I've shortlisted are HP Envy, and Dell Inspiron 15r.
Here are the specs.:

HP Envy:

i5-4200m (2.5 ghz)
8gb ddr3-1600 Mhz
Nvidia GT 740m 2gb ddr3

Dell Inspiron 15r:

i7-4500u (1.8 Ghz)
8gb ddr3-1600 Mhz
AMD Radeon HD 8850m 2gb ddr5

I would like to know if there's a big difference between the i5-4200m and the i5-4500u. Also, I'm confused among the GPUs.
Ain't the 8850m a better performer than the GT 740m?

Any help would be appreciated.

i5-4200m should be better for performance. It's basically the same as i7-4500U, two cores, but clock speed is higher. On the other hand, the low power unit will be easier to battery, so the ULV model should be lighter, less noisy, more portable. Notebookcheck ranks 8850M a bit faster than AMD 740M, but both roughly in the same class. By the way, HP also allows you to configure the same Envy model with GeForce 750M, and this one will dominate both others by a good margin. On the other hand, I heard HP Envy BrightView screens are crap for color balance and off-angle viewing, even 1080p. If Dell's screen is better, it may be worth to get that one.

The trouble i face in choosing from the both is that, the i7-4500u is a dual core ULV(ultra low voltage) processor.
What I'd want to know is if i'd find any difference in performance.

The price for both the laptops are identical. That worsens the situation for me.
